Samuel Gonzalez brings rock-solid leadership skills to his position as executive president and founder of Fundación E, an organization in Mexico that coordinates the government’s national business incubation system and works to further economic opportunities in Latin America, North America and Europe.
Working out of Fundación E’s office in the Mexico City area, Mr. Gonzalez supervises consulting directors and managers and formulates strategic-planning initiatives. In addition to carrying out fundraising efforts, he maintains partnership relations with officials from the Mexican Ministry of Economy.
Mr. Gonzalez established Fundación E to help individuals and companies succeed in the financial arena. To assist displaced apparel workers in Mexico, Honduras and Costa Rica, Mr. Gonzalez spearheaded the development of his organization’s Sustainable Livelihoods retraining program. He also oversaw the creation of Fundación E’s youth entrepreneurship program in partnership with the National Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Gonzalez holds a master’s degree in public relations and has been active in the professional community through his memberships in organizations such as YES, Inc. and the Mexican Center for Philanthropy. He attributes his professional success to his work ethic and his determination, and in the future, he hopes to focus on increasing economic development in Brazil.
